Here's a sample of some of the 500 color cards, all hand done I did for COMIC IMAGES Godzilla series of trading cards out now! One sketch card is randomly inserted into each box of cards! Also available will be black and white sketches by myself and several other artists. But the color art is exclusively mine! You can find them in most any comic, card or collector shop. In the New England area try Newberry Comics!

Here's a new painting of The Creature from The Black Lagoon, done for a poster for "Creature Fest" in San Francisco, coming up in October that will show all three films and, feature guests Ben Chapman and Julie Adams who starred 52 years ago in the very first Creature...er..feature.

Here are two new Bob Eggleton covers.

The first is for the "Godzilla" issue of RUE MORGUE magazine, out of Canada.

This issue covers the release of the new GOJIRA(1954) DVD.

I was asked to paint a Godzilla in a record amount of time for this new issue, on newsstands now!

And speaking of GODZILLA,I'll have 700 original sketches that you can get, randomly inserted into Comic Images series of trading cards of Godzilla, due out soon!

This cover is for the Pyr edition of Mike Resnick's classic IVORY, due out in 2007.

This is one of my best covers ever, and indicates a newer style I'm going in.

Bob Eggleton is a successful science fiction, fantasy and landscape artist. Winner of 9 Hugo Awards,12 Chesley Awards, The 1999 Skylark Award and 2 Locus Awards his art can be seen on many magazines and books.
 
His Illustrated books are: THE FIRST MEN IN THE MOON by H.G.Wells(1989, Donning), DRAGONHENGE(2002)and THE STARDRAGONS(2005)(both with John Grant and published by Chrysalis Books and THE BOOK OF SEA MONSTERS with Nigel Suckling(Overlook Press).
His artbooks are ALIEN HORIZONS(1995) GREETINGS FROM EARTH(2000)(Hugo Winner, 2001) (Paper Tiger)and PRIMAL DARKNESS(2003)(Cartouche/Steve Jackson Games) Bob has also worked as a conceptual illustrator for movies such as SPHERE(1998) JIMMY NEUTRON BOY GENIUS(2001) and THE ANT BULLY(2006) and the thrill ride STAR TREK THE EXPERIENCE in Las Vegas.
 
Of late, Bob has worked doing more animated movie concept work, private commissions, self commissioned work and illustrated books.

He has been elected as a Fellow of The International Association of Astronomical Artists (FIAAA), and is a Fellow of The New England Science Fiction Association (NESFA).


He also appeared as an “fleeing” extra in the 2002 film GODZILLA AGAINST MECHAGODZILLA.
